A special commemorative event will be held to mark 150 years since the death of Charles Beyer, the renowned railway engineer and benefactor, who is buried at Llantysilio Church.
The day will begin with a service at St Collen’s Church at 10am, pausing as participants travel by steam train from Llangollen Railway to Berwyn.
A procession led by Father Lee will then continue across the Chain Bridge to Llantysilio Church, where the service will conclude with prayers at Beyer’s graveside.
The event will finish with refreshments at Llantysilio Hall.
