This week we’ve had new drone footage and still photography undertaken at St Collen’s Church as part of the Genesis Project.
The survey work will help us better understand the condition of the roof and support future conservation planning for this remarkable historic building
The images also capture something truly special, the incredible scale of St Collen’s and its place at the heart of Llangollen. From above, you can really appreciate how the church sits within the historic landscape of the town and why it has remained such an important landmark for generations.
As we continue to develop the Genesis Project, these surveys are helping us care for the building whilst planning for a sustainable future for worship, heritage and community use.
