An urgent appeal to raise funds for the conservation of its internationally renowned 16th century medieval hammer-beam roof, a master piece of Welsh craftsmanship is being launched.

The iconic roof, admired by visitors from around the globe, faces critical decay and risks being lost without immediate action. Suzanne Evans emphasises the roof’s significance as a symbol of Welsh heritage, describing it as a ‘testament to the skill and vision of our ancestors.’

Urging individuals to protect this invaluable link to Wales’ cultural identity, she calls on heritage enthusiasts and supporters worldwide to contribute. Donations will fund essential conservation work, stabilising and restoring the structure for future generations.
