As the UK emerged from the first lockdown a very difficult decision was made with regard to the pattern of worship in our group of four churches. This decision was based on the Welsh Government Guidelines, the statement from the House of Bishops and conversations with other leaders in the Valle Crucis Mission Area. This situation has been reviewed in line with the updates from the Welsh Government and Church in Wales.

Money

The truth is that a great deal of our income has disappeared with the closure of the community hall, the closure of our church buildings, and cessation of services.

Ordinarily, it costs St Collen's Church alone £1,000 per week to keep it open and active. We, like many other churches, will be living off our reserves for the foreseeable future.

Our historic buildings and wide-ranging work come at a price. To be there for generations to come, we need to reach out to those who can help us today.

Whatever you are able to give, please consider this over this period.
